INSPIRED! {GOD-BREATHED}

Any form of ‘Good Success’ is always a function of preparation and opportunity intersecting at a specific time. All successful people will tell you that there was an opportunity they took advantage of at just the right time. Nevertheless, I have come to learn that the source of all creativity always comes dressed in a seemingly mundane moment of inspiration. The wisest man said in Ecclesiastes 9:11, I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.

Accomplished creatives like artists, Painters, writers, or entrepreneurs; are aware that they hardly predetermine when inspiration will come. It could come anywhere or anytime, even at the stroke of midnight. Inspiration comes when it comes, the wisest thing to do is to take advantage of that moment and make the most of it.

Unfortunately, we have all fallen prey to trying to postpone that precious moment; when the creative juices are flowing, when God is at work in us, to will and to do, of His good pleasure; We however come to a sorry realization later that that inspiration is long gone and we can’t get it back! God does not work with our convenience!

Regrettably, this has happened to me not once, not twice but many times over. I lost my inspiration because I was too sleepy to wake up and act on it, I was too tired, I was too busy! Bleak excuses if you ask me! What if I acted on that idea when it came? What if I listened when I knew I should have acted? What if I had bought those shares when everything told me I should? What if! What if! What if!

Inspiration is the spark that ignites innovation, creativity and invention! It always comes as a moment of clarity, where a vision suddenly becomes clear, your imagination opens up, ideas start flowing, you mind is stirred up and the challenges ahead turn into possibilities. An inspired man is a force to reckon with! I also believe that the right inspirations should align with your area of expertise, your gifting, calling, talent and beliefs. Basically your Purpose. Not every idea is worth running after!

The Greek word for ‘INSPIRATION‘ is ‘Theopneustos‘ which means ‘The Out breathing of God!’ The bible says in Job 32:8, But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. I personally believe that all inspirations that result into creativity, innovation and advancement that we see in our days is God-breathed! Don’t get me wrong, the devil has his innovations that are meant to wreck havoc to our society, but the truth is, all his innovations are a corrupted imitations of God’s creations. For the bible says in John 8:44 He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. He is also a thief who comes to steal kill and destroy, according to John 10:10.

We should however know that God gives all of us a chance and an opportunity to make progress. Inspiration does not come to you alone, the bible says in Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. If you don’t act on your inspiration, someone else will, the world will not be held at ransom by your inadequacies. That’s why if you’re an artist, an innovator or an entrepreneur, look around you, There are millions of others like you. Therefore take advantage of the grace the Lord has bestowed on you. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

When you were inspired, You almost started writing again; You almost went back to the gym; You almost started a YouTube channel; You almost started a podcast; You almost started a business; You almost changed your lifestyle; You almost chased your dreams; You almost shot your shot… Almost is nothing at all… #JustDoIt!

Ephesians 5:14-17 For anything that is clearly revealed becomes light. That is why it is said, “Wake up, sleeper, and rise from death, and Christ will shine on you.” So be careful how you live. Don’t live like ignorant people, but like wise people. Make good use of every opportunity you have, because these are evil days. Don’t be fools, then, but try to find out what the Lord wants you to do.
