“Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the Lord , ‘Curse its inhabitants bitterly, Because they did not come to the help of the Lord , To the help of the Lord against the mighty.’ Judges 5:23
Some of us have really been blessed because we chose to still ‘Help the Lord’ (read serve the Lord); no matter what! It’s a choice we make everyday until it becomes part of us!
Innocently, You may have chosen not to and have even convinced yourself that it’s your way of allowing others who are more qualified than you, or who have nothing else to do, to do the service. Or Could it be because you are ‘too busy’ with your work/building your Career?
I am sure it’s because of Covid19, right?
Or Could it be because you are married and thus family responsibilities have increased?
Oh I know, you are an international student with tight schedules and huge fees to pay, am I right?
Well there maybe so many legitimate reasons that am sure are well known to you. But let me tell you the truth, none of these matters! The bible in James 4:17 says “Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.” So when trouble starts raining down on ya, please remember I told you why!
The surest way to attract numerous uncountable blessings and to reap a hundred folds here on earth and in heaven (Read Mark 10:30), is to ‘help the Lord’ in any way or form that you can. Remember The harder it gets, the fattier the blessings!
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Cor 15:58) God is not unjust to forget your Labour of LOVE. He is too Kind to do that 🤗.
“Listen to my words,” Jesus said. “Anyone who leaves his home behind and chooses me over children, parents, family, and possessions, all for the sake of the gospel, it will come back to him a hundred times as much in this lifetime—homes, family, mothers, brothers, sisters, children, possessions—along with persecutions. And in the age to come, he will inherit eternal life.
Mark 10:29-30 TPT.
(Notice how persecution is thrown in there as though it is a reward… Well it sure attracts the choicest rewards up there!!!)
